The El Segundo Lady Eagles have had an outstanding season! Including a big win in their last game against Centenial. Senior Kelly Geis has had a truly amazing season. Kelly has led her team to many victories this season. She beat the CIF record for free throws, making 511 throughout her career. Kelly also averaged 30 points a game, and has scored over 1,850 points throughout her career as an El Segundo Eagle. She will be truly missed by the team.
Among the Eagle's many successes, Brittany Asher has had an amazing season and was named a 1st team all league player. Asher, Junior Captain, has been a huge asset to the team. Her skills on the court have benefited the whole team immensely. The Eagle's expect that she will improve even more her senior year. Because of the efforts of all of these players the Girl's Basketball team had one of their best seasons ever, falling just short of CIF.
This year's parting seniors Holly Poon, Ghalia Mohder, and Kelly Geis will be sorely missed. Their inspiration, team leadership, and persistence have been admirable throughout their careers as Eagles. Good luck in the future, girls!
