- Students receive help on their regular math class HW and work with Intervention materials. One goal is to improve their overall math skills and provide HW support. Another is for students to pass their regular math class and perform better on state standardized tests. Individual and small group work strategies are utilized.

- Course Description:
- This course repeats the requisite skills taught in elementary grades that students may not have yet mastered. The basic skills are reviewed and are taught in small groups for the purpose of bringing students’ standardized STAR test scores to the Proficient level. Assessment is administered to eligible students to determine what level of curriculum to be completed. This course is taken in place of an elective course to focus on support of reading and language arts skills for the middle school student. This course is open to students who do not already have RSP or SDC services for Language Arts support.
