ESMS PTSA meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, with the exception of December, at 7:00 P.M. in the school library.

Welcome to the PTSA Section of El Segundo Middle School’s Website!

The PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is a voice to speak for all students and families. Your input is important in making a difference, and your involvement improves student learning, health and well-being. As a member, you have access to information and educational programs. Lastly, being a member provides a sense of community!

One purpose of the PTSA is to provide volunteers for various functions at the middle school. We have provided the human resources for the New Student Orientation BBQ, schedule distributions, workroom projects, limo rides, Parents on Campus, Run for Education, Teacher Appreciation Week, and countless others. These events could not take place without the support of the volunteers!

Although fundraising is not a main function of the PTSA, it IS another service provided. The funds that are raised by the PTSA support a wide variety of programs at the school, including field trips, buses, assemblies, classroom necessities, and supplies. We encourage you to support the various fundraisers, including Signature Fall Fundraiser, Manhattan Bread & Bagel, and Manhattan Village Shopping for Students.

There is also a student component to the PTSA, which is the Leadership Counts Club. It meets each Friday at lunch in Room JM103. Under the leadership of Kristi Zeman, the club members help with school activities and organize community service projects.

I encourage each of you to become a part of the PTSA, and get involved at the school.
