      Our class came up with one rule that would cover all the situations

that arise. It is:  

“Use Good Manners”

   Consequences- Individual

When a student chooses not to follow these rules:

 The first time a student breaks a rule they are given a warning.

bullet

The second time a student breaks a rule they will have a time out.

bullet

 The third time a student breaks a rule they will receive a note and a call home. If a note is sent home it needs to be signed by a parent and returned to school the next day.

Consequences- Groups

Students also receive recognition for good behavior at their tables. There are 5 tables with 4 students at each table. We keep a running tally record of “table point’s.”  The table to win 15 "table points" first are rewarded  with lunch with the teacher.

Students who behave appropriately

will be positively rewarded with:

 Lunch with teacher

 

 
 

Severe misbehavior such as fighting, threatening a student or teacher, or verbal abuse

will result in the student being immediately sent to the principal.
