All About Mrs. Loye...

I was born in Torrance, California many years ago.  I feel very fortunate to have grown up in a family with four sisters (and no brothers).  It was a pretty fun time growing up!  We still meet a few times a year for a "sisters weekend."

29 years ago I met the love of my life when he was visiting the U.S. with his rugby team.  After 4 months, and lots of letter writing, he returned to Los Angeles.  The rest is history.  27 years later, we have two beautiful children and have made El Segundo our home for the past 26 years.

I am currently in my fifth year of teaching. It is my second career.  Prior to teaching, I was an optician. About 10 years ago I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of teaching.  After 5 years of juggling work, family, and school, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cal State Dominquez Hills.  This past year I completed my masters degree at Chapman University.  I never look back on my decision to go into teaching.

I love the outdoors and nature.  For fun I like to camping, hiking, and bike riding.  I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

Another member of my family is Keva, our dog. We adopted her from a pet rescue over 2 years ago. We are not sure what type of dog she sure is cute.  She loves to snuggle up to people.  She will sit on your feet if you let her!  It is so nice to come home to her happy face at night. We love her!
