We will be having several parties during the year. We request that each child donate about $3 per party to help cover the cost of supplies, food, etc. Some of our parties will be set up in centers so parent volunteers will be needed to help in each center. Our room mother will be contacting you for your help along with a reminder for your donation if it hasn’t been received at school by the designated date. I will send a letter home informing you about each party. The following parties will take place this year in our classroom: Halloween, Winter Holiday, Valentine’s Day, Spring Holiday, End of the Year.
Some of the other days we have celebrated in first grade are: Thanksgiving Feast, St. Patrick’s Day (Green Day), 100th day in First Grade, etc. We may be asking you to send it items for these days.
